We know that before launching any automation, it’s important to make sure everything works as expected. While our platform currently doesn’t support sending test notifications, there are a few practical ways you can run tests without any issues.
1. Use Mercado Pago test credentials
Mercado Pago provides a testing environment that allows you to simulate payments without using real money. These credentials let you test different scenarios (approved, rejected, pending payments, etc.).
You can enter these test credentials in our platform and perform the necessary tests to ensure the automation is responding correctly.

2. Run a real test with a low amount
A more direct and practical option is to create a real payment link with a small amount. This way, you can see how the entire flow behaves (from payment to the automated action) using your production credentials.
This method is useful not only to confirm that the automation is triggered, but also to verify that the credentials being used are correct.
3. Use the actual amount and issue a refund
If you already have a final amount set, you can also test with that exact value. After the test, simply go to your Mercado Pago account and issue a refund for the payment.
This is a great way to test the exact experience your customer will have, without altering amounts or conditions.
